Kagan is a software engineer and has worked for various companies in Chicago and Silicon Valley. He was recently a web application developer at Nokia and also worked at the Chicago's Mayor's Office for a project called Adopt-a-Sidewalk. Kagan has worked as software consultant for over 12 years.
